Mixed Bhangra Dancers with Dhol player
This professional mixed Bhangra dancers are south east based, they promote both folk and culture. Performances are based on a mixed group of male Bhangra and female Giddha dancers and include a Dhol player, a Boliya singer and a sword spinning act.
Extras can include the use Bhangra props such as Sap (wooden clappers) and Danga (wooden sticks). During their performance they have a variety of acts such as male Bhangra only, female Bhangra only, mixed Bhangra combined, Giddha, male and female duet dancing, and for the finale spins on the floor, Chimta spinning.
Their performances are for approximately 15 minutes to the latest Bhangra backing tracks including a medley of music and songs, followed by crowd interaction known as ‘Workshops’. The Dhol player and Boliya singer are involved during crowd interaction and workshops. This could mean inviting the bride and groom on the dance floor followed by relatives and friends singing traditional wedding songs based on them both. If its a corporate event, they offer a workshop involving all the guests by teaching them a few steps.
Once the performance has finished they can offer you a choice of one of the following….
You can either have their Boliya singer, Dhol player, backed up with their Chimta player performing live Boliya singing inviting all relatives and guests onto the dance floor.
Or
A Bhangra interactive workshop in which they invite everyone to get involve and make it a fun filled session by showing their basic dance moves, encouraging guests to join in and with a great bit of banter.

Artist’s Requirements:
Sound system
DJ or technician along with a professional CD player with speakers
Car parking
The company requires 1 x secure car parking space within walking distance of the venue, for unloading costumes and equipment. If the artists chose to bring extra cars, then these will be their own responsibility, however the client must arrange 1 x non chargeable space for the company.
Changing room
A room is requested for the artists to change in. If there are male and female artists performing then separate rooms must be arranged.
Drinks & refreshments for all artists
Although not mandatory, it is expected for artists to be treated like the clients guests at an event, and therefore courteous to keep cold drinks and refreshments in the dressing room and/or provide the artists with a meal after their performances.
